LO'UD Cooperative
LO’UD Cooperative’s core activity is textile weaving. ETWA have supported these amazing women since 2007. LO’UD aims to lessen the burden of poverty for its members through local economic growth while also ensuring their work leaves a light footprint to protect the environment for future generations.
Things & Stories
Things & Stories is a unique boutique in Hotel Timor in Dili, showcasing products from handcraft producer groups from across Timor Leste. They create the missing link between producers and niche markets across the world. Their strategy is focused on collaborative work with artisans to create high-quality products!
Jeitu
Jeitu is handcrafts producer located in Taibessi, Dili, run by Sheila Boston, since 2006, creating beautiful tais covered notebooks, earrings and many more quality designs. Jeitu employs local men and women and supplies training and mentoring for all their employees.
Boneca de Ataúro
Boneca de Ataúro is a social entrepreneurship and craft workshop, located on the tiny island of Ataúro. The artisans work in cloth and embroidery, creating beautiful dolls, a creative range of bags and a huge range of educational toys and books for schools.
Arte Moris
Arte Moris is a not-for-profit Fine Art School, Cultural Centre and Art Community based in Dili, East Timor. Since 2003 Arte Moris has been using the creative arts as a building block for psychological and social reconstruction of a country devastated by violence.
